Our safari in Tanzania with our Rafiki David was truly the trip of a lifetime. We visited Tarangire and Ngorongoro, and both parks were absolutely stunning. We were lucky enough to encounter incredible wildlife sightings. David is a very experienced guide and shared all his knowledge with us - in English and German! We booked a 5 day safary to Tangire National Park, Ngorongoro with crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara by Dreamdays Safaris. Our guide was David and this was a very good decicion. His view to discover animals for us was amazing. We are lucky to see so many animals. He was always patient, when we need time to took photos. He also could tell us a lot about the nature and animals. He find out very nice accommodation for us. We were in all cases satisfied, including the driving also. Six-day safari with Tarangire NP, Serengeti, Ngorongoro NP and crater as well as Lake Manyara. David, our German-speaking guide, had a knack of where the animals were. He showed us the Big Five, the Great Migration with thousands of wildebeest and zebras and the other animals of Africa up close. Unforgettable! The lodges were also impressive. We had such a great trip with David and his team. A short overview:We started already a few months before our trip to Tanzania to get in contact with David to plan our safari tour. Back then, David already was a great guide, providing different options and being very flexible in the planning when our needs changed. He also kept our budget in the planning. The execution of the whole trip then was as comfortable as Davids consultation had been before. We started out after a first night at Davids Airbnb in Arusha (great food, lovely host) on a four day trip to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater (our highlight!), Lake Manyara and Lake Natron/Ol Doinyo Lengai. Throughout the days in the national parks, David provided us with the perfect experience. He always was on time, able to answer every question and always took us to the best spots to view the animals. We couldn’t have hoped for a better guide to do this! There was never a situation in which we felt unsafe either (considering having lions within two meters walking by and being blocked by a group of 20 elefants once) as David always remained calm and told us how to behave. After the national parks we did a night hike up Ol Doinyo Lengai with a local Massai guide (also organized by David). After the hike (very hard, especially the descent, but a beautiful view and experience overall) everybody felt very tired and didn’t feel like driving back the long road to Arusha in the afternoon. So we asked David for a spontaneous extension of one day which he made possible as well. You don’t get these individual solutions a lot so I wanted to point it out!So all in all, highly recommended tour organizer, would book again without any hesitation!

Went with Dream Day Safari for a 4 day trip to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Lake Natron. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide and driver, David, is very professional and down to earth. He will make you feel comfortable, and he always know the best spots. With him, we saw all the animals we could hope for, and his driving skills are top notch. He always gave us the best views and knew where the animals were and would be going next. David is very easy to communicate with, and he is also flexible regarding the schedule and programme. This was a huge plus for us. Overall, our experience with Dream Day Safari was perfect. In October 2024 I was part of an 8-person mixed German group of travelers - 2-week round trip Tanzania plus Zanzibar via the travel provider Africaventura: David Loy was our lead guide and driver who guided us through various parks, land, wildlife and culture in Tanzania (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti) and allowed the group to spend relaxing days in Zanzibar at the end. David is an absolute expert on flora and fauna and has made the trip absolutely unforgettable through his expertise, his own history (Massai, now : modern massai :) and last but not least his always positive and warm nature. I can absolutely recommend a trip with David and his agency - I'm sure he will design just the right tour for you/her, drive you safely through any terrain and give you an unforgettable experience with a lot of joy and ease. If anyone goes the “extra mile” to really satisfy each and every one of the travelers, it’s David. The group dinner on the beach under stars last night was an example of how much David is committed to his group until the last minute. We all left with a smile and will definitely come back. Thanks for this unforgettable trip, David! You made Tanzania feel like home! Asante sana.
