Booking tours
Info about tours
Our tours can vary from hiking trips, daytrips, safaris and more. The option to have a private tour is only available for safaris with no exception. Group safaris are, if not stated otherwise, in English. We can never guarantee a certain amount of animal sightings, good weather or natural phenomenon of any kind.
Booking process
Booking a safari or tour with DreamDay Safaris follows a structured process designed to ensure clarity, transparency, and legal protection for both parties. Regardless of how a client discovers our services—whether through social media, our website, recommendations, or other channels—the first step is to contact the company.
Upon receiving an inquiry, clients provide their preferences, and we respond with a formal email and a separate quotation outlining the itinerary, accommodations, pricing, and relevant details. This document serves as the basis for further adjustments, if necessary.
Clients may request modifications to accommodate special needs, including dietary restrictions, accessibility features, or additional services. However, any requests that are declined or not approved will not be included in the final booking.
Once the booking is confirmed and payment is completed, the trip’s details and itinerary become final and non-modifiable. Both parties must agree on the terms and conditions before the company provides official payment instructions.
DreamDay Safaris reserves the right to decline a booking at any stage before issuing formal receipt documentation to the client or their authorized representative. This ensures that bookings remain compliant with operational, legal, and safety requirements.
Pricing and payment
Once the booking is confirmed and payment is completed, the company guarantees full adherence to the agreed terms of the specific tour or safari. However, the following exceptions may apply:
- Government-Imposed Taxes and Fees: Adjustments to national park fees or government taxes in Tanzania may result in additional charges for the client.
- Fuel Price Fluctuations: Significant increases in fuel costs may necessitate a surcharge to cover additional expenses.
- Quotation Errors: In the event of a major undercharge in the provided quotation, the company reserves the right to revoke the initial offer.
- Exchange Rate Adjustments: In rare instances, suppliers may impose an exchange rate surcharge due to substantial currency fluctuations. The client is responsible for covering any resulting cost changes.
- Supplier Price Increases: If any supplier raises the cost of a service included in the booked itinerary, the client will be required to cover the additional expense.
Our payment process works like the following:
The full payment for the booked safari or tour must be completed prior to the trip’s commencement.
Payment Methods:
DreamDay Safaris accepts payments via the following methods:
- Online Banking (wire/bank transfer)
Payment Confirmation:
- Clients who make payments via bank or wire transfer must email a copy of the bank receipt to the company for confirmation.
- Clients using PayPal must email a copy of the PayPal transaction approval to the company for verification.
- Any transaction fees incurred must be covered by the customer.

If members of a booked group choose to pay separately, they should be aware that DreamDay Safaris may send shared booking details exclusively to the group leader.
The group leader is responsible for ensuring all members receive relevant trip information.

These currencies apply to both direct bank transfers and PayPal transactions.
Refund Details
If individuals cancel less than 30 days before the tour, they will forfeit the tour fees. A refund may be considered only in extraordinary circumstances, provided sufficient proof is submitted. If individuals cancel 30 or more days before the tour date, a full refund will be granted, except for lodging-inclusive tours, which are subject to the accommodation provider’s policies. Refunds will be processed promptly upon approval. Partial cancellations are permitted only if the request is submitted and approved at least 30 days prior to the tour start date.
Exchanges are allowed; however, no refunds will be provided for canceled individual tours. Customers must purchase full insurance coverage for their tour package and airline tickets to protect against unforeseen cancellations or modifications.
The company reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time prior to departure if terrorism, natural disasters, political instability, or other operational concerns make it unfeasible to proceed with the itinerary. In such cases, refunds will be issued, and the company shall not be liable for any additional claims, disputes, or compensation requests related to the cancellation. The company is not responsible for incidental expenses incurred by the customer, including but not limited to visa fees, vaccinations, and non-refundable airfare.
Last-minute transfers of a booking to another individual are permitted only if the company is informed at least two days before the tour date, along with the complete personal details of the substitute traveler. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the booking remaining under the original customer’s name. If the original customer does not attend the trip, they will be subject to the company’s no-show policy.
If a traveler fails to show up without canceling at least 30 days prior, the company’s no-show policy considers this a full forfeiture, requiring the customer to cover the total costs without any right to a refund. Late arrivals may be accommodated only if the company is notified in advance and approval is granted.
All requests concerning cancellations, refunds, transfers, rescheduling, or other booking modifications must be communicated exclusively through the company’s official email or phone number.
Risk Factors and Liability
Safaris inherently involve certain risks, including unpredictable wildlife encounters and changing weather conditions. Therefore, the company strongly encourages clients to review their travel insurance policies, as coverage complications with insurance providers can arise.
Clients must ensure their policy includes coverage for trip cancellations or limitations, medical expenses due to illness or injury before or during the trip, emergency evacuation and repatriation, accidental death, and loss or theft of baggage, money, or personal belongings.
Clients bear full responsibility for securing appropriate insurance coverage, and DreamDay Safaris is not legally liable for any consequences arising from a guest’s failure to obtain adequate insurance. All sporting activities undertaken by clients are at their own discretion and risk.
We strongly recommend that clients carefully review their insurance policies, as many may exclude injuries sustained during high-risk activities. Travel insurance is a vital safeguard against unexpected disruptions such as cancellations, so we advise securing coverage from the moment of booking and ensuring protection for the entire travel period, including before, during, and after the trip.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are required to inform the company in advance of any medical or mobility-related concerns. Additionally, the customer acknowledges having received and understood all safety instructions provided before the trip’s commencement. The company expects clients to seek clarification on any necessary details before the tour begins. Furthermore, each client is strongly advised to assess their own fitness requirements and complete all essential health preparations, including vaccinations and medications, as the company does not provide or cover any medical treatments or vaccinations on-site.
Behavior
The company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate a customer’s trip arrangements without prior notice if their behavior is deemed, in our reasonable judgment or that of any operator or relevant authorities, to pose a risk of distress, harm, danger, or disruption to others, the customer themselves, or property, or if such behavior is unlawful.

Customers are required to adhere to the local instructions and guidelines set forth by these third-party providers.
